How to
travel
unplanned

The name of our hostel, “UNPLAN,” comes from the term, “unplanned”. We want our hostel to be a place where guests can visit without any plans and still be able to create meaningful encounters. With this idea in mind, Hostel UNPLAN was born.

Staff

Staff

Our reception staff are fluent in both Japanese and English with some speaking Chinese and Korean as well. We welcome with open arms all of our guests, wherever they may be traveling from. Feel free to ask our staff for travel advice, or just chat with them as if they were your friends.

Guest Rooms

Our main guest rooms are dormitory rooms. These rooms contain our own company developed UNPLAN BUNK (bunk bed). UNPLAN BUNK’s concept is that of a “mini room”. Although compact in size, each bed contains a security box, power outlet, and a light to create a comfortable atmosphere for guests to spend the night in.

Common Space

Furnished with a simple kitchen, our common space includes a sofa, a large television, and plenty of room to relax. Although they may be strangers at first, this space invites our guests to come together and make memorable encounters with one another.

Cafe & Bar

Our on-site cafe and bar is open to not only UNPLAN’s guests but to outside visitors as well. English menus are available for those traveling from overseas and all of our staff can take orders in English. With our speciality coffee and original cocktails, we invite our guests to enjoy a delicious meal with us.

Events & Tour

Events & Tours

Never lacking things to do, our hostel hosts weekly events such as “IZAKAYA Night Out” (a bar crawl where guests can drink like the locals), cooking nights, as well as many other exciting tours and events.
