Check-in / Check-out

Our regular check-in time is from 16:00.
We are not able to provide access to your room before 16:00, but we can store your luggage for free at the front desk from 8:00 on your check-in day.
If you plan to arrive after 23:00, completing online check-in in advance is mandatory.

You can check out earlier if you wish.
Our regular check-out time is 11:00, but you may depart any time before that without any problem.
If you leave before 7:00, please use the back entrance. After 7:00, please use the main entrance. No special procedure is required.

Yes, you can.
We offer free luggage storage at the front desk from 8:00 on your check-in day.
If you plan to arrive even earlier than that, please contact us in advance.

Yes, we can store your luggage until 23:00 on your check-out day.
Please bring and pick up your luggage during front desk opening hours.

There is no curfew.
Using the PIN code provided at check-in, you can enter and exit the building 24 hours a day via the back entrance.

No special procedure is required.
For multi-night stays, except on your final check-out day, you are free to come and go as you like after check-in.

Yes, it is available. If you would like to request a late check-out, please contact the front desk by 11:00 on your check-out day.
Additional charges apply.
Private rooms: until 13:00 – 3,500 JPY
Dormitory: until 13:00 – 2,000 JPY

Yes, it is available. If you wish to check in late, please use the access code we sent you by email in advance.
Enter the building through the back entrance and complete your check-in using the tablet.

Reservations / Changes / Cancellations

We do not accept stays by guests under 18 years old if they are staying on their own.
Guests under 18 years old can stay if they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

We do not accept reservations by phone because credit card information is required to complete your booking securely.

The procedure differs depending on how you made your reservation.
If you booked through our official website, you may be able to make changes yourself by logging into your My Page.
If you find it difficult to change your booking online, or if you booked through another booking site, please contact us with your “booking name / reservation number / details of the changes you would like” at:

The cancellation policy depends on the plan and the booking site you used.
Please check the confirmation email you received at the time of booking, or the My Page on the booking site.
For some plans, such as “non-refundable” plans, cancellation fees are charged from the time the reservation is confirmed, so please check the details carefully before making your booking.

We are a cashless property and do not accept any payments in cash.
All reservations must be paid online in advance, so please be aware of this before booking.
If you have unavoidable circumstances and need to discuss your payment method, please contact us in advance via LINE or WhatsApp.

Yes, it may be possible depending on availability. If you would like to extend your stay, please complete the procedure via our website.
When you make the additional reservation, please use the same name and book the same room type as your original reservation.
Once the extension is completed, you can continue to use the same room and the same bed.

Access & Nearby Facilities

Yes, there are.
There is a convenience store (FamilyMart) right next to the hostel, open 24 hours a day.
There are also several supermarkets and drugstores within walking distance, and we will send you a neighborhood map in our pre-arrival email before your stay.

We do not have a private parking lot on-site.
If you are coming by car, please use one of the nearby coin-operated parking lots.

Facilities & Rooms

Beds cannot be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis.
In principle, we assign beds on our side, taking into account the overall reservation situation, gender balance, and other factors.
If you have a preferred bed position, please let us know in advance as a request.
We cannot guarantee specific beds, but we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.

Amenities differ depending on the room type.
・Mixed Dormitory / Female Dormitory
One bath towel per person per stay, toothbrush, razor, sanitary products,
shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face & hand soap, shared hair dryers, iron, ironing board, hangers, etc.
・Private Double Room
Balcony, air conditioner, TV, mini chair, safety box, full-length mirror, hangers, bedside lamp,
table, power outlets, bath towels, face towels, hair dryer, electric kettle, mugs, UNPLAN original coffee,
amenity set (toothbrush, razor, cotton set, body towel, hair band, shower cap, hair brush),
shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face & hand soap.

We do not provide pajamas or room wear.
Please bring your own sleepwear.

For dormitory guests, we provide one bath towel per person per stay free of charge.
Additional towels can be rented for 200 JPY per towel (please request this at the front desk during opening hours).
For private room guests, towels are replaced during cleaning.

Yes, there is a simple shared kitchen in the common area.
You can use a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, electric stove, and sink, as well as basic cooking utensils, plates, cutlery, and some seasonings.
Please feel free to use it for simple cooking or to enjoy take-out meals.

UNPLAN Kagurazaka is not fully barrier-free, and some areas of the building and some dormitory rooms have steps or level differences that may be difficult to access by wheelchair.
There is elevator access to the private room floors, so if you are traveling with someone who can assist you, we generally recommend staying in a private room.
If you have any concerns, please contact us in advance.

・Dormitory rooms: We offer free bed sheet changes every 7 nights.
Sheet changes at other times can be arranged for 400 JPY per change.
・Private rooms: If you would like sheet changes or room cleaning, please inform our staff by the day before.
In all cases, please contact the front desk by 11:00 on the day if you wish to have cleaning or sheet changes.

We do not have large lockers that can store big suitcases.
Please use the available space in your room and keep your belongings under your own supervision.

Each dormitory bed is equipped with a small security box in the headboard area.
Private rooms are equipped with a safe, so please store your valuables there.
Please do not leave valuables unattended in common areas or around your bed.

It is possible to rent part of the hostel or the entire building.

After reviewing your request, our staff will get back to you.

Other Services

If you have a future reservation to stay again at UNPLAN Kagurazaka, we can store your luggage across different dates.
The storage fee is 400 JPY per day.
As our storage space is limited, please contact us in advance if you have large items or wish to store luggage for a long period.

We offer a simple breakfast (such as bread and a drink) for staying guests at “Gather by UNPLAN” on the 1st floor.
We will inform you of the serving time and details at check-in and/or via our pre-arrival email.
You can also order additional items from the café menu.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the hostel.
The SSID and password will be provided at check-in.

Yes, you can. When sending luggage or parcels, please ensure that payment for shipping has been completed in advance.
Also, please clearly write the same name as on your reservation on the package, and set the delivery date to be the same as your check-in date.
