It’s been about two months since the opening of UNPLAN Fukuoka.
Now that the State of Emergency is over and the city is beginning to return to its old, prosperous self, we have begun hiring staff who can live and work at UNPLAN!
If the following applies to you, you may be a perfect fit for the position of free accommodation staff.
UNPLAN Fukuoka is located directly in front of Ohori Park with easy access to just about anywhere in Fukuoka city. The facility is not only brand new (and spotless!), but also has a trendy design and friendly staff with many different backgrounds.
・Cleaning
This includes making beds and cleaning toilets and showers.
It’s okay if you have no experience in house keeping. We will teach you how to make beds look flawless.
Work hours: daytime
・Night shift
This includes checking in guests who arrive late and cleaning around the hostel.
Staff are not required to be awake during the entire night shift, but to be prepared to wake up and help guests if there is an emergency in the middle of the night.
※Business-level Japanese is required for night shift
・Other
Free accommodation staff are also welcome to partake in other work using any special skills or experience they may have!
We especially welcome those with skills and experience in design, writing, creative projects, reception at any kind of accommodation facility, event planning, and community management.

Accommodation staff stay in either pods or bunk bed-style dormitory rooms.
UNPLAN’s original dormitory beds have been praised by travelers for being both spacious and comfortable with features that make them feel like miniature rooms inside of each capsule.

Free accommodation staff are welcome to use the common lounge, kitchen, and WiFi whenever they need to. Staff discounts are also available at the cafe located on the 1st floor.

In surveys that ask where people want to live inside of Fukuoka city, the Ohori Park area always appears near the top of list. The quiet area is surrounded by nature and close to the waterfront while also only a 20-minute walk away from Tenjin. There is no need to change trains when going to Nakasu and Hakata Station by subway, and it only takes 15 minutes to get to Fukuoka Airport on the same Kuko Line.
UNPLAN is also located right next to a convenience store, and there are several supermarkets in the area for easy grocery shopping.
In addition to daily rates, we also have a long-term stay plan, so many of our guests live at UNPLAN in the same way as a share house.
